David Walker’s practice includes civil trial and appellate litigation and arbitration, primarily for the defense. He has litigated a variety of cases involving insurance defense, construction litigation, contract disputes, premises liability, land disputes, warranty claims, manufactured housing litigation, municipality disputes, product liability claims, malicious prosecution, and whistleblower claims. He has represented individuals, small businesses, and large corporations in cases ranging from accident litigation to complex class actions.
David also represents clients by offering litigation management and support. He has assisted clients with contract negotiation, business acquisitions, and business formation.
David graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama with a BA in Political Science in 1993. In 1996, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a member and published author of the Alabama Law Review, and a member of the Order of the Coif.
David is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Mobile Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all Alabama State Courts and in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama.
In addition to practicing law and raising a family, David devotes much of his time to coaching youth basketball and serving in various positions to promote youth education, including serving as president of a local school board. He is also an avid college football fan and enjoys fishing the local waters of Mobile Bay.
