Robert received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Alabama and has an LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University.
Robert M. Galloway practices primarily in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and bankruptcy.
For many years he has been listed in the Estate Planning Section of the Best Lawyers in America, and is currently listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of taxation.
He is currently named the Best Lawyer’s 2016 Mobile Tax Law “Lawyer of the Year”. Bob has taught multiple continuing legal education seminars.
With regard to the bankruptcy practice, Bob specializes in bankruptcies involving tax issues and handles primarily Chapter 11 bankruptcies, but also Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
Bob has served on the Board of Directors and as an officer of numerous charitable organizations. He practices in all State Courts of Alabama.
He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States Tax Court.
Bob is a member of the Mobile County and American Bar Associations, the Alabama State Bar and the Mobile Estate Planning Council.
